Downtown Nashville Public Library is having Saturday Feb 3rd from 11-2 in the conference center & auditorium area.

A big 3 hour Chinese new year celebration that includes:
food, dance troupes, cultural lecture, fashion show, face painting demo, calligraphy demo, craft stations, red envelopes for each child with 1 yuan"

REMEMBER -- the main purpose of this event is to introduce AMERICANS to Chinese culture. So if you have American friends, please invite them and let them know about this program for children. Please do not invite other Chinese to this program.

Join Discovery Center as we ring in the Year of the Tiger! Participate in the traditional Dragon Dance, create Asian crafts, and sample traditional Asian recipes in the kitchen. Remember to wear red for good luck!
